My goal is to maintain such a list and make it available through this newsgroup. Please, send me information regarding a) name and version of package (e.g., GNU Emacs 1.18.5), b) name and version of compiler used to compile the package (GNU C 1.37.6), c) 88k box brand name and OS name and version (e.g., DG AViiON under DG/UX 4.20.02), d) possible new features or limitations. And, of course e) Internet address, f) original author, g) port author, and h) legal constraints. Mail the information directly to me [ja%fctunl.rccn.pt@cunyvm.cuny.edu] and I'll later post the full list. To get things moving, here is the list I am aware of: -- GNU stuff including GCC 1.37.6, g++ 1.37.1.3 (beta), Emacs, bash, -- bison, gawk, ... pretty much everything except for Flex. CTeX, CWeb, -- ... SpiderWEB (soon!). SB Prolog, C Prolog, and SICSTUS Prolog -- (soon!), Austin Kyotto Common Lisp, Icon 8.0, p2c. -- Software I know is being ported: CAP (and KIP), ET++, -- Berkeley BSD 4.3! -- Things I would like to see ported: Standard ML Jose Alegria Data General EuroACE European Competence Center in Academic Computing Environments Est.
