I'd appreciate any comments and/or suggestions others may have. Specifically, the DOS program expects an Epson-compatible printer hooked to its parallel port. I cannot change this. SoftPC is configured to emulate an Epson FX-80, and route the printed output to a LocalTalk LaserWriter. All works well except that the output will always wrap-around at column 80. The is not acceptable because the PC program expects a wode-carriage printer in compressed print mode, and assumes about 180-character per line. I have tried many variations of printing, including using legal-size paper, horizontal instead of vertical orientation, and reduced print size (output is reduced, but still wraps at column 80, about 1/3 the way across the page). I have also gotten similar results using an Apple ImageWriter in place of the LaserWriter. Do you know of a way to convince SoftPC to allow longer than 80-character lines? I am at my wits end here. We do not have a DOS system to use, so I need to solve this problem. The developer of the PC program has verified that the line wrap problem does not occur on a true-blue system w/ an Epson FX-286 printer, so I am focusing in on SoftPC as the problem here. Any feedback will be greately appreciated. Thx. -- Bill Douglass, TCADA "I dreamed I was to take a test, in a Dairy Queen, on another planet." L. Anderson
