Newsgroups: comp.os.vms,comp.sys.mac,comp.sys.mac.programmer Subject: Can I hook an ImageWriter II to a VAX? Message-ID: <97@thehulk.dmc.com> Date: 29 May 90 19:24:06 GMT Organization: Doyle Munroe Consultants, Inc., Hudson, MA Lines: 24 I was looking at my [now] spare imagewriter II and wondering what to do with it. About the same time, I got frustrated by not having a printer on my VAX. Perhaps I can solve both problems. Use the IWII and get a printer on my VAX. Has anybody out there successfully connected an IWII to a VAX? What kind of cabling is needed? Anything special that needs to be done for the printer symbiont? Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Please reply by mail as I don't regularly monitor these news groups. If enough interest is expressed I'll summarize for to the net.
