The main difference between Pixelpaint and Pixelpaint Pro is the color
capabilities.  Pixelpaint, I believe, will adequately use an 8bit color
card, whereas Pixelpaint Pro will use a 24 bit color card, thus enhanceing 
your color capabilities.
