My problem is that while I have my own Mac II I have no PostScript laser printer (it is an easy thing to use the University of Illinois's printers they are everywhere). I have a minimal research budget in Japan which I could use in part for buying a printer. The problem is that from what I understand it is very difficult to get a Japanese institution to purchase an American product from overseas -- so I'll probably have to buy something from within Japan. (No comments on the purchasing limitations -- It is not my policy after all). The $3000 question is then what PostScript printers are available in Japan - and which is the best deal? -- Paul Fons fons@vmd.cso.uiuc.edu (internet) Coordinated Science Laboratory fons@uiucvmd (bitnet) University of Illinois 1101 W.
