This doesn't have much to do with the question posted previously about DNS
and YP, but that question brought this to mind.  We, too, have the
resolver libc.so on a SparcStation, and it works great for fully qualified
names.

I notice that it completely ignores any entries in /etc/hosts (or the YP
version thereof), including any nicknames.  Is there any way to make the
search path:

	1) Search the /etc/hosts (YP) for the name/nickname
	2) if that fails, use DNS.
