All was well until last week. Suddenly, the 3/80's decided to hang. I tried to reboot them but no luck (example): Using IP address {########} Booting from tftp server at {########} Downloaded 129,368 bytes from tftp server [....TOTALLY HANGS....] The green status light on the front is blinking. Any clue as to what could be happening. I'm sure that nothing was changed on the server; that is, nobody screwed with the export directories and all the daemons (including yellow pages) seem to be working fine. The physical network connection must be working because it does perform the initial download. It's as if the workstations are waiting for their root and swap directories from the server, but the server just isn't sending them. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!! (email preferably ;-) ) Thanks in advance @xxxxx{==============- giacobbe@pilot.njin.net -==============}xxxxx@ | or | | giacobbe@apollo.montclair.edu | | | | "There can be only one..." - (Highlander) | @xxxxx{==============- -==============}xxxxx@
