One of the guides that came with Mathematica seems to indicate that this can be done but doesn't give the exact commands and everything I have tried results in an error. If a command is given to Mathematica which generates graphics, like: In[1]=Plot[x*x, {x,0,10}] Mathematica responds with: Out[1]=-graphics - In[2]=%%[ Error: can't connect to X server; OffendingCommand: (null)) ]%% An xhost command is done on the remote workstation before running Mathematica and DISPLAY is set. Mathematica says it is initializing X11 graphics. Mathematica is version 1.2, X is V11R4 and SunOS is 4.0.3. Mathematica is running on a Sun 3/60 and I want to have the graphics displayed on a Sun 3/50. Has anyone successfully done something like this and could explain to me exactly what needs to be done?
