This makes S-bus board addition impossible... or does it? I have read of at least one company (AMAX) which makes S-bus to S-bus expansions, the AMAX product is supposed to give you 4 S-bus slots, and needs one S-bus slot to connect into... Now, If you get an SLC, take out the frame buffer, hook up this S-bus expansion, and stick the frame buffer in the expansion box, you will have 3 s-bus slots free, to use for DSPs, Memory, Serial/Parallel and whatever you wish.... Other than the bother of getting the cables in and out of the monitor, does anyone see a problem with this? Does anyone know more details about s-bus expansion boxs (price, connection method, size, etc.) ? | Gil Tene "Some days it just doesn't pay | | devil@techunix.technion.ac.il to go to sleep in the morning." |
