This transformer provides 12vac to the Maintenance Panel, which in turn, converts it to a 5volt supply for powering the MP's logic circuitry. The IOP also works in conjunction with the Maintenance Panel to provide the Time-Of-Day Clock. In nine times out of ten, the transformer breaks down over a period of time, thus reducing the 12vac output enough to cause this failure mode. Replacing T1 with a new Dale IPL-2329-25 transformer should solve your problem. Good Luck, Tom
