No mention of Zortech is made, but if properly written the specific C++ compiler should not be a problem. It seems to be vaporware at this point, but they give a BBS # of (817) 965-6994 1200/2400 N 8 1 where a demo and sample code can be found. Their address is: Sturmer Hauss Corp. 685 W. Long Street Stephenville, Texas 76401 (817) 965-2602 (I do not see a price listed, either) At the risk of starting a new thread, many OOPS proponents are championing C++, Actor, etc. as the best tools to overcome the apparent new complexities introduced by graphical environments. I (and I assume others) would be interested in hearing any success/failure stories so far. I have fooled around with Zortech C++ a bit, and felt that to create your own new classes (since there is so little C++ code out there already) required a great deal of knowledge about the internals of C such as pointers to functions, memory allocation, et cetera. Is there some good C++ windows source floationg around out there? Tom Rombouts, Ashton-Tate Development Voice: (213) 538-7108 ( The opinions above are mine and mine alone.)
