Keywords: imake Message-ID: <125155@ti-csl.csc.ti.com> Date: 24 May 90 21:38:19 GMT Sender: news@ti-csl.csc.ti.com Followup-To: mail.interviews Organization: TI Computer Science Center, Dallas Lines: 16 Approved: news@ADS.COM Seems like I remember some talk on the net a while back about adding C++ rules to the standard X11 imake configuration files and doing away with a separate set of configuration files for InterViews. Is this still the plan? Is anyone working on this? Assuming this is the plan, is /usr/lib/X11/config destined to become a kitchen sink, with a rule for everything anyone ever wanted to in a makefile? Or will a more general mechanism exist allowing invocations of imake to selectively include one or more sets of configuration parameters (only the ones it needs)? ________________________________________________________ | Roger West Texas Instruments | | west@itg.ti.com P.O.
