When I approach these conservatives, they tell me "Gloom & Doom" stories from long-ago time. As a professional activist, I specialized in being "mentor" to others. Each of my "pioneers" had much of the groundwork surveyed, quietly & thoroughly, by myself, before I "encouraged" my "pioneers". These duties and responsibilities are part of EVERY COMPETENT MANAGER - enabling your "charges" to work effectively within the organization. Sounds like the organization that initially hired you was run by incompetents. Or in fact, there was a "mentor" around who had in fact measured you before your were subjected to very predictable environmental stresses. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!3!712!631!Greg.See-Kee Internet: Greg.See-Kee@f631.n712.z3.fidonet.org
