I'm glad that someone else besides myself can see that this
conference is becoming filled with Sweet-Nothing messages.

There is something odd about these people who try to impose
their Sweet-Nothing world onto us, the REAL people.   You are
describing a reality that I have seen, and lots of other people
described to me as well.

At this stage, I'm wondering: "Why is there such strong
resistance to allowing Disabled People (& others) from describing
their world"?

It has to do with some kind of censorship process.  Something
like:

        "NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!"

As long as the air is full of fairy-floss and Sweet-Nothings,
these very intolerant people can continue pretending that
reality does not exist.

This is very relevant to the disability industry, because of the
low-regard and the low-status that the general population gives
to disability.  If we can better understand WHY these
Reality-cripples exist, then our battle to share our true-lives
will be half-won.

As it stands now, because of the direct and indirect censorship
put onto Disabled People, the true stories are being buried with
sickening layers of fairy-floss.
