The training keeps my weight in check. The persons I compete WITH are members of the National Wheelchair Athletic Association, The Cerebral Palsy Athletic Association and the Physical Fitness Councils of British Columbia and Alberta (Canada). Most of the athletes I have met have no weight-gain problem. The ones who do have a weight-gain problem are not serious competitors -- they are there for fun and frolic. They also still have the weight-gain problem...... ---Sheila. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!209!720!Sheila.Fava Internet: Sheila.Fava@f720.n209.z1.fidonet.org
