I'm trying to bring my rn up to date.  It's currently at patchlevel 40.
I have patches 41 - 47.  When I apply 40 - 44, 45 rejects at final.c,
complaining that it's not at the required level.  I don't know for sure
whether it's my patch 45, or one of the previous patches that's causing the
problem.  The current version of final.c is 4.3, with a date of  85/05/01.
This seems to be awfully old.  Did a previous patch fail to update it's 
version number?

I'd sure appreciate someone helping me straighten this one out.  If I've got
a bad patch or source element, please point me to good one, or (better yet)
email me the good stuff.
