I have a question regarding the consumption of meat. - As far as I am aware Muslims are not allowed to eat pork or the flesh of carnivorous animal (e.g. birds of prey, sharks, lions etc.) However with the recent case of BSE (or MAD COW DISEASE), it has been revealed that cows (as well as sheep and poultry) have been fed with processed remains of animal carcasses. My question: Even if the animal has been killed following the Islamic method, is it HALAL? ============================================================================== LIAKET ALI e-mail : zmacy02@doc.ic.ac.uk ==============================================================================
