I have tried many methods, none with any success. Can anyone recommend a proven method for isolating plasmids from cyanobacterium? Any advice as to possible stumbling blocks would be appreciated. I have gotten bands on gels, but I beleive they are chromosomal. Thanks all!! Send responses to aarment@wsu.bitnet.
