        I have been having trouble isolating plasmids from the cyano-
bacterium Microcystis aeruginosa PCC 7820.  I have tried many methods, none
with any success.  Can anyone recommend a proven method for isolating plasmids
from cyanobacterium?  Any advice as to possible stumbling blocks would be
appreciated.  I have gotten bands on gels, but I beleive they are chromosomal.
