Keywords: optimize, C Message-ID: <1990Jun5.173605.2901@esegue.segue.boston.ma.us> Date: 5 Jun 90 17:36:05 GMT Sender: compilers-sender@esegue.segue.boston.ma.us Reply-To: stewart@sdsu.edu (Kris Stewart) Organization: Compilers Central Lines: 23 Approved: compilers@esegue.segue.boston.ma.us I am planning to use Compiler Design in C in the fall semester. Can members of the group point me to alternate texts or monographs that do a good job on optimization? Are there 'review' articles in the literature that might make a good addition to class readings? Are there a few recommended journal articles that could be appended to the class reading list? Since much optimization becomes machine specific, a detailed introductory example for some specific machine might make a good lecture sequence - is there any such documentation available that would be accessible reading for upper division undergraduates? Thank you Kris Stewart (stewart@cs.sdsu.edu) -- Send compilers articles to compilers@esegue.segue.boston.ma.us {spdcc | ima | lotus}!esegue. Meta-mail to compilers-request@esegue.
