In the past, all of the modems that we communicate with have been set up to use only PEP mode, so we could leave our modem with S50=255 (for security). Now, one of our sites has a need to use their Telebit for 2400 baud connections. Does anyone have a dialer entry that will let me switch our modem to autobaud and then back to PEP mode? In other words, I want to be able to dial out to slower speed modems, and if the remote modem is a Telebit, go to PEP mode. Also, I only want to accept calls from other Telebits in PEP mode. Any suggestions? -- Dan Rich | drich@dialogic.com || ...!uunet!dialogic!drich UNIX Systems Administrator | "Danger, you haven't seen the last of me!"
