Message-ID: <15093@dime.cs.umass.edu> Date: 3 Jun 90 18:31:19 GMT Sender: news@dime.cs.umass.edu Organization: COINS, UMass, Amherst Lines: 12 I would like to hear of peoples experiences using exception handling in C - both pro and con. Don't most people find that returning error status codes becomes very hard to handle (no pun intended) in larger software systems? There was a paper about 7 or so years ago in an ACM publication discussing this and providing macros to implement it in C. Can anyone provide the reference (or even better a copy of the article!) or other, more recent ones? Have any of the many C books on the market discussed exception handling in C?
