Message-ID: <427@rafos.UUCP> Date: 5 Jun 90 18:57:09 GMT Distribution: na Organization: School of Oceanography, URI, Narragansett, RI Lines: 14 I had little trouble using the ASIC bus. It didn't work when I tried to be quick and dirty and just directly drive the GData lines, but when I put some tri-state hex buffers (I used 74LS356s, because thats what I had laying around) int the circuit and used the GIO line as a chip select (I only need one ASIC device) it worked just fine. You have to remember to use a literal value for the address for G@ and G!. -- Skip Carter UUCP: uunet!rafos!skip School of Oceanography INTERNET: skip@rafos.gso.uri.edu University of Rhode Island Phone: 401-792-6519 Narragansett, RI 02882
