translator is now available as Bell Labs Tech Report 149.  You can get a
compressed copy of the PostScript file via anonymous ftp to research.att.com
as follows:

	% ftp research.att.com
	name (foo)>  anonymous
	passwd>	     [your id]
	ftp> cd dist/f2c
	ftp> get f2c.ps.Z
	ftp> quit
	% uncompress f2c.ps
