It could be a very benign mistake.  Since Turbo likes the array to naturally
go from 1 to N, you might check the file PCLDEFS.pas to find out what are
considered to be the legal channel values.  In ATLAB, the channels run from 
0 to maxchannel-1.  Doesn't Data Translation provide some examples to follow?
