From a practical point of view, I agree with you! (Especially after seeing AmigaOS 2.0) However, MINIX is first and foremost a teaching OS with a "glass case", and how can MacMinix (or Amiga MINIX, were it also a hosted port) be much good when it's a glass case around a big black box?? I hope this shows everyone how phony Apple's so-called "commitment" to education really is. Instead of educating students, they really want to turn them into end-users.
