Wiskunde & Informatica, VU, Amsterdam Lines: 10 Approved: comp-os-research@jupiter.ucsc.edu There were some problems with the postscript versions of the Amoeba papers on midgard.ucsc.edu (in ftp/pub/amoeba). New compressed postscript files have been installed. If you got a version and it acted strange, you can FTP the new versions. That should work better. The problem is thought to relate to paper size (8.5" x 11" in the U.S., 210 mm x 297 mm in Europe). This difference affects page layout, and when tables and figures are split across page boundaries, funny things happen. Andy Tanenbaum (ast@cs.vu.nl)
