It would be preferable to be able to store a photo directly rather than using a scanner to input the image. Ideally I would like to utilize a video camera (e.g. Cannon XAP- Shot) along with a digitizer board. Does anyone know of available h/w and s/w (i.e Unix device driver) that will handle the job? Also, any information on color output (e.g. color slide or photo) devices would be appreciated. You can respond on the net or directly to me at the address below.
