I'm looking for any help I may get on bar code scanner systems.  I am currently
looking for information on which company has a good reasonably priced hand held
scanner with software that will run on either a xenix or MS-DOS system (we have
both and could run on either format).  Will the software support printing bar
codes on a HP laser or Epson dot-matrix?  What are the pros and cons of the 
system as you see them.  I am currently looking for a system to use for a spare
parts inventory and later expand to other parts of the operation.  Thanks for
any assistance you might have.  If there is enough interest I will post my
findings.
