  hi,
   i'm beginners in unix and i'm working on U6000 series computers.

  i have two  problems,
      how can i write retrieve  function (for command line),
       (i wrote it but i think that is  not good)
  how can i make protect my dummy terminals screen (for screen formating)
       (terminal type : uvt1224 )
