I know this subject has been beaten to death, but... After trying WB1.3.2, several programs called CallBack2Life, and a few attempts at black magic, finally someone sent me a routine that allows me to (here we go again...) SETCLOCK on my A501 which usually says "battery backed-up clock not found". Now it says, after I do 'callback2life' and 'date 05-jun-90 11:06:00' and 'setclock opt load' it tells me " " It tells me this if I type 'date', if i try any subsequent 'setclock' command. However, this is much more then ever I have achieved since it seems to at least have found the #$%&-ing clock. :-) So, (and email please, I am sorry enough about posting this subject again) what does " " mean and how can I make the date load? sandy ------------ Sandy Antunes antunes@astro.psu.edu "Then we'll be off. But remember, chaps, this is not just a matter of life and death... this is a matter of style." Remember, EMAIL PLEASE!!!! cut down on excess bandwidth? never....
