Message-ID: <0062.AA0062@orac.UUCP> Date: 7 Jun 90 03:01:18 GMT Followup-To: comp.sys.amiga.games Distribution: usa Lines: 26 I tried to submit a followup but it didn't work; anyway, I tried out "Their Finest Hour" (Battle of Britain) today and I was very impressed by the frame rate. Until I remembered that they were running it on a 3000. I don't know how fast it runs on a normal Amiga, but it's pretty sharp on the 3000. Still, it was quite an experience flying a plane incapable of standing on it's tail, or even doing a loop without diving for speed first... and no radar, no heat seekers, NOTHING. Sheesh. And it took forever for those little bullets to take down a bomber. I guess all this means it was an accurate simulation? The salesman who was showing it to me was a native of England, so he was able to show me where he used to live and I dropped a bomb on it... Anyway, this is also a test of my new UUCP node running on "Orac", my Amiga. I'm a little suspicious because it seemed to work the first time I called for mail. I expected anything but that. And where the *@#$%^& is my "Organization:" line?
