I was reading the man page for "start_csh" and read the following:

NOTE
     start_csh starts a log-in C shell (one that reads your .login file).
     start_csh is supported for compatibility with previous releases, and is
     not the recommended command to use at SR10.

Why is start_csh not recommended?  To this point, I have been using the csh
when doing most of my developement. (There's nothing like !cc) I am running
SR10.2
