I'm running ICD BOOT > v4.6.0 which says it includes a fix for this and I set the number of extra > folders to 200. I have the 40 Folder fix set to 100. No problems encountered yet. As I understand the problem, TOS 1.X has an internal pool of memory which it uses. The initial memory reserved for this purpose was not sufficient to hold all the necessary data under certain conditions. One of the conditions arose when 40 active folders were encountered. From discussions in this news group, I have learn't that there are other contributing factors to the reduction of the initial memory pool, for example when a application uses malloc frequently. > if I run DLII it reports no cross linked or lost sectors but does complain > about the directory structure being bad. Also check that you have correctly set up the environmental variables. Failing that try contacting your supplier of Lattice for advice. I could not tell were your posting came from, but HiSoft in England are the distributors here, and they do read this news group occasionally, any advice HiSoft.
