Greetings Unix-pc'ers,

I have a question about HDB which has been driving me nuts for the last 2 days. I have always been fairly meticulous with my Permissions file even though I
don't really have anything sensitive here, but I got a rude shock the other
day. I discovered that VALIDATE isn't working!!  I tested for myself with
remote.unknown +x and -x. It would invoke NOSTRANGERS, but VALIDATE seems to
drop into a black hole!!  Any comments|suggestions|ideas????  I'm all ears!
