Interactive expects the format program to mark bad sectors and limits that count to 255. Because the HP format utility marks bad tracks, that count will be easily exceeded on a typical 300Mb drive. Apparently there is a utility out there (somewhere) called ESDICONV.EXE which converts the disc from track to sector marking. Has anyone heard of it? Do you know where I can get it?
