The problems seem to be around the floppy diskette drive or interface. I vaguely remember that there were some known bugs in the hardware which had similar symptoms. Does anyone remember any of the details or know how I could track down if these problems are real. BTW I have sent this system to "Serviceland" for repair of this problem, when they got the machine it exhibited no symptoms so they reseated cables and returned it.
