Message-ID: <1990Jun6.153357.6031@irisa.fr> Date: 6 Jun 90 15:33:57 GMT Sender: news@irisa.fr Organization: IRISA, Rennes (Fr) Lines: 20 Hi everyone, Sometime ago, someone posted a request for info about his/her wd1002a-wx1 hard disk controller. I'm sorry because I missed the answers. Such a disk controller has been installed in my pc xt compatible. The cpu of my pc is an 8088 II rated at 9.5 MHz. I already have a 360Ko 5.25" floppy drive as A: and a 20Mo hard disk as C:. I'd like to add a 3.5" 1.44Mo floppy drive as B:. Is it possible with such a configuration? If the answer is "yes", can anyone give me some pointers to a documentation about my disk controller or can anyone say me what I should change on it so that it can recognize the 3.5" HD drive as B:? Any help would be appreciated! Many thanks in advance! Christophe Delaunay. e-mail : delaunay@irisa.irisa.fr
