Person) Organization: North Dakota State University, Fargo Lines: 21 My boss handed me something today from TERABYTE who claim they will *RENT* siftware (minus docs) to me for a certain time for $2.00 a disk. The list of titles included most of the popular software including WP and Wordstar, lotus 123 and AutoCad. There was also a full page-and-a-half of games. Isn't this piracy? I doubt that they have 100 legit copies of word perfect to send out through the mail. Could I get in trouble for sending in 2 bucks for a 'demo' copy of populous? What do you guys know about these people? What are the legal liabilities involvedin this? Would Borland sue me for ordering a demo of Turbo Basic, etc. Thanks -- Brett G.
