I know that I can xwd and xpr (with a -ps switch creating a postscript file) BUT The problem is this: The QMS100 is connected to a localtalk network. I can get one (or both) of either the xwd output'ed file or the embedded postscript file (output of xpr) to a Macintosh on this network Now, I need either: a program (can be commercial - we have MacDraw 1.1, Canvas, et al) that can accept as input a X window dump (xwd) format file OR a program or method which will take my embedded postscript program and send it to the QMS100 WITHOUT doing the postscript encapsulation. That is, I need a utility to send a file "raw" to the printer This one might be quite easy but I must admit that I am much more comfortable working in a *nix environment than a Mac one. Any bright ideas? -- Steve Scott UUCP: {texbell|texsun}!csccat!camdev!sscott Motorola, Inc. Internet : sscott@mot.com Telephone : 1-817-232-6317
