While I don't anticipate receiving a lot of faxes, now that I've got the thing I'm sure it will create uses for itself. I there any way that I can get away without installing a second phone line and still use this thing and use my phone? I saw an add in the latest New Yorker for a line switching device that supposedly accomplishes this -- but it was from a company that is always advertising gizmos that I am skeptical about. I'd also like to continue to use my answering machine, and I'm not sure if that is going to lead to additional problems. Any advice greatly appreciated. gordon hester
