The despair of network programming has gotten me.  I am trying to implement a
simple program that registers its name on an AppleTalk network.  I have used
the code exactly as on pp302-303 of IM-II, and the program crashes whenever I
make an NBPxxx call.  The program consists of only the code mentioned above.
Perhaps I am missing something that is not intuitively obviuos from the reading.
Would some kind sole please offer some help on this matter (sample code is 
highly appreciated, but not necessary)?
