I am trying to have the mail program automatically launched and hidden
after login similar to the way preferences works. I just want to be able
to look at the dock icon and tell if I have mail waiting. I do not want
the mail window to appear. So far I have set mail to autolaunch and hide
the window by hand but this is a pain. Is there any way to launch in
hidden mode or to feed a hide command to mail automatically?
