We have tried to connect a VT1000 from DEC to a SUN using xnews.

We have done the following:

setenv DISPLAY w.x.y.z:0                (internet address of the vt1000)
setenv X11ONLY

xnews

then we see a message "connection request" on the VT1000, but then nothing
else happen.  Has anybody succeeded to make this connection?
