I'm installing the TeX/LaTeX system from labrea.stanford.edu.
The installation is on a 3B2.  Everything seems to run fine, 
except that LaTeX wants to place each character on a separate page!
The first test document compiled was 100 pages long!  
I've no doubt done something really dumb, but can't see it from here.
Any suggestions?
