Do you know if it's possible for me to get on the comp.text.tex mailing
list?  I'm on a couple of Internet lists ... but I don't know if there
is a general mechanism for the transfer or if it's special for info.?.pascal
and comp.sys.handhelds.  Is there a "comp.text.tex-request@somewhere" I
could ask?
