I've a dual serial card which I want to use as COM3 and COM4.

When I strap the card as COM1 and COM2 it's
recognized by the kernel at boot time. When the card is strapped
as COM3 and COM4 the kernel doesn't see the card. 

I assume that the kernel must be configured to look for 
COM3 and  COM4. 

How can I configure the kernel to do this?
