I have seen various different trap numbers occuring on other machines (i.e. Altos) and have never been able to get any good answer as to what causes which errors.--sometimes they blame software, sometimes hardware. Does anyone have a list of what these trap numbers mean and what the causes commonly are? Any input on this topic would be appreciated. The specific message I get is as follows: (the registers vary somewhat) Trap 000D in system ax=0040 bx=F9C6 cx=0000 dx=0110 si=0018 di=03D4 bp=0392 fl=0286 uds=0018 ex=0110 pc=0060:3B93 ksp=0378 prtrap: PANIC: general protection trap Safe to power off -or- Press any key to reboot Thanks for any help.
