We randomly get kernel error messages like the following: aha: Spurious interrupt aha: No controller response 0 After which the system dies. Often this results in trashing the root file system and we have to restore from tape. Has anyone else run into this problem? SCO seems to think the controller is at at fault but we are on our second controller and the problem still occurs.
