I have problem running windows 3 in protected mode on my Gateway
2000 with 4 megs of ram.  When loading HIMEM.SYS it gives me a
warning saying HIMEM can't disable handle A10 (appearantly it
had no problem enabling it.)  When I tried to run large applications
or many small programs (in protected mode) I would get a
SYSTEM ERROR - Application Terminated error...

I am not sure if this is the problem of HIMEM, windows 3, or
Gateway 2000, but I assumed it was Gateway 2000 because everything
runs beautifully on a Dell 325 at work.

I am sure there are many people with setups just like mine out there..
any comments??
