I am pretty sure that the driver provides 16 colors, because at least one of the programs I have lets you choose colors and it gave me 16 choices (from a rather bland palette, I might add; I wonder if there's a way to change them). The `4' in Mode800x600x4 might refer to the number of bits per color instead of the number of colors, which would provide 2**4 or 16 different colors. ___ Michael B.
